Decided to retire the “trusty old” DW 5000 kick pedal I’ve been stomping on for the past 20+ years. It has served me well in my band Stone Machine Electric. Waiting on a DW 3000 to show up on my doorstep.
I recently took it apart and cleaned it up. But since I’ve been playing a double chain PDP pedal at home, the DW just seems wobbly and just not near 100% performance. The teeth on it are also worn down. Maybe I’ll make it an art piece and just place it on a shelf.
