Decided to run with CDs for The Mystic Crib release. I’m not good at marketing, and don’t want to spend money on a short run of cassettes. I’d rather do cassettes for my own collection, but CDs are good too. I can also got as little as one made through Kunaki.
Kunaki also does vinyl the same way, but their stuff doesn’t sound all that great. Not sure how they produce it, so that is probably part of it. Plus it is pretty expensive even for one ($33 each).
I may look into doing a short run of lathe cut vinyl for a single, that might be cool. Send me any recommendations if you have it for those.
But back to CDs. I got the packaging artwork put together and have some samples shipping to me. Hopefully they arrive this week so I can look and listen to them. Then if all is good, I’ll add them to the preorder.
