Black Rainbows- Superskull Review

I’ve been listening to the latest Black Rainbows album Superskull. I have been listening to this band for probably 10 plus years. If you’re into hard stoner rock, then you’ll dig this album.

CD, yo!

The album starts off strong with the track Apocalypse March. This one, to me, is a classic Black Rainbows sounding track. Hard 70s rock sounding riffs. Great vocals and fuzzy riffs.

This album is a great mix of that sound mixed with some psychedelic and also modern sounding riffage. I think they’ve done a great job taking that 70s rock sound and making it theirs in a modern way.

Standout tracks for me are The Pilgrim Son and Desert Sun. I dig the slow and spacy start of The Pilgrim Son. Desert Sun has a nice heavy crunch that I get into as well.

I’m no good at putting this shit into words, so best option is for you to check it out yourself.
