I don’t remember exactly how I came across Pilot Voyager’s The structure is still under construction, but I’m glad I did. I may advertise myself as being ambient, but not as good as this or really as ambient. I bounce around it more than I’m in it.

The one thing that immediately drew me to the album was the cover art. Apparently I’m a sucker for anything architectural looking. I love a good album cover, and it’s easy for me to miss out on music if the cover is horrendous. Don’t do that often, but it does happen.
This album is a single track spanning over 45 minutes. I’ve listened to it a few times now, and it is perfect for having in the background while working, and performs just as well for drawing or just having a moment to space out with your thoughts.
I love the found sound start. It gives that feeling of familiarity as it draws your mind in. The track weaves in and out with guitars and synth and just drones on. The track is one long slow build into an encompassing ocean like sound. Like it was just a slow motion drive into the ocean, and you just want to turn around and take that drive again.
