We got a visit from my spirit animal over the holiday.
I was doing yard work and such, and this one just came walking on up to me. Had to get the Mrs yo come check it out. She was following me around like no other, so I led her to the scrap food area we have in the yard.
She went to town on what was there, and the Mrs brought more scraps out. Then the thing spent the day scratching in the yard looking for more things to consume.
The Mrs tracked down where it came from. Turns out a neighbor down the street has a couple of them. Talk about free range. There are coyotes, foxes, and raccoons in the area, not just cats for it to worry about.
It came back again yesterday, I guess to pick up where it left off. Guess we may see it around.
