Seems a good time to share what I’ve been listening to recently. There are a ton of year end lists floating around, so over the years I’ve used these to find things I missed. There are also some things friends share with me on occasion, so it’s not all new.
I’ve seen this one on several lists. If you dig Norwegian instrumental music, you’ll love this. Boogie and Fuzz.
I actually bought the vinyl for this one. It’s a solid blend of 60s and 80s music to my ears. It’s definitely worth checking out.
Check out Alice Coltrane if you want to hear some avant-garde jazz. And yes, she was married to John Coltrane.
