I bought a replacement cymbal bag. The one pictured below is about or near 30 years old. It was the cheap-O Guitar Center version.

I’m not sure how many shows this thing has seen over the years. I’m sure I used it for Rusty Wilcox, Rustic Dog, Quo, Stone Machine Electric, Headeraser, and Herd of Instinct shows. It will now be relegated to cymbal storage in the studio, which I am now referring to as the Rm (architectural abbreviation for room).

The padding and inside are still in good condition. In fact, it has better padding than the replacement I got for toting my non-Stone Machine Electric kit around. For SME, I use a hard plastic vault type case. In the past, we played out of town often, so I upgraded for that.
