Summer

Summer has been odd this year. Especially since I was hammered with health issues. That essentially lead to canceling the Stone Machine Electric shows lined up, along with one Headeraser show had to bow out of.. But, that should be easy enough to bounce back from.

The one bummer was the Slow Draw show I had lined up. I’m still not clear on what happened there, but I feel like it wasn’t a real show to begin with. It was just presented as such. At least it ended with me having a set worked up, even if I wasn’t able to play it on stage. I do have a prospective replacement show for that one.

The biggest bummer was not being able to go to Tokyo and hang out with my friend Terry. The pneumothorax made it so that I couldn’t fly for a while. Planned that trip a year ago only to have it postponed a few weeks before. Luckily, I was able to rebook, and I’ll just go in January.
