A Night in Terlingua is a slow, hypnotic journey.
The album starts out building a slow rhythm to mold a gentle, hypnotic melody over. In fact, that is the blueprint for this album. A slow, moderate tempo is built as a bedrock for the middle eastern inspired melody that is the center piece of the album.
I imagine each piece as just a different viewpoint of the album’s subject, Terlingua. Or, it could be seen as different parts of that night there. Time melds between the tracks.
