Progress

Drum setup

I’ve made decent progress on my RPM sessions. Currently, I have 4 tracks, 5 if I count the one I put together in Garageband on the flight back from Tokyo. Yeah, I’ll count that one.

Other than the in-flight track, these are all guitar based crap I churned out. They are similar in sound to Living in a Land of Scarecrows, but with only two distortion pedals instead of 5. FYI, the use of 5 on that was more a conceptual thing than functional. Although, I do like how that song turned out.

13-ish minutes is my longest track. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to record an extremely low BPM song on my wrist. Holding out notes for a long period is not comfortable.

Drums were recorded the other night. I used a simple setup. All you get is kick drum, snare, and two ride cymbals. That was a fun session as well.

Now, it’s time to finish up some lyrics and record those. I’m still debating on if or what sound bites I may add. Still in a protesting mood.
