Local (to me) band, Faded Night, released their self-titled debut album last week. Just shy of 30 minutes, it’s a great little scorcher of a release.
The opening track gives a hint of a Tool influence. Great start to the album as well. In fact, the arrangement of the album is spot on, and each song goes to the next seamlessly.
The album has a great flow of dynamics from hard rock to a more mellowed hard rock and back again. The sound of Faded Night reminds me of the 2000s hard rock, like Incubus, A Perfect Circle, or Chevelle. It’s definitely worth listening to and checking them out live if you’re in DFW.
No Bandcamp link, but it is on Spotify
