I’m planning out a Slow Draw set list in the inevitable instance a show comes my way, or i decide to plan a 3 week tour. That would be fun, right?
I spent a bit of time yesterday mapping out songs on a drum machine app on the iPad. The problem I ran into is that I can’t do the drum machine and sample pad apps at the same time. At least not efficiently. I can export the drum loops from the app, but that makes me think I should just export the drum tracks from the recordings. The only plus to the loops is I can alter the song length and such to be able to fit songs how I want them for a live setting.
A set list has been developed. It may need some tweaking. It currently has 2 new songs, one of which is a mellowed derivative of Living in a Land of Scarecrows that serves as an opener. The rest are off The People’s Department of Governmental Checks & Balances, except one older one that I like the inclusion of in this set.
Guess we’ll see what happens.
