Booking

Since Stone Machine Electric has an album coming out this fall, I’m trying to book a “tour” for it. It’s in quotes because it will be a series of weekenders. That makes it hard to get out beyond our area unless we want a day’s drive back.

So far, I have roughly 3 dates confirmed and a couple of “let’s see what we can do” responses. The usual places responded immediately. Can you guess what other places responded immediately? That’s right, the “those dates are already booked, sorry” places. No malice their way, I appreciate the response. I just wish other venues at least responded with something.

Once I’m done with this part, successfully, hopefully, it will be time to figure out transportation. I no longer have a truck for pulling a trailer of gear. No regrets there since  99% of the time I’m commuting to work or work related job visits. I don’t get mileage reimbursement from music venues. Ha!

Since we’re talking about Stone Machine Electric, I’ll be posting the preorder up on Bandcamp later today. It will be on CD and vinyl!
