I’ve seen the band name pop up on socials, but I never listened to Faetooth’s music until recently. So, here are a few words on their latest album, Labyrinthine.

Labyrinthine is ten songs of stellar doom gaze. I haven’t necessarily digested all the lyrics, but the music is a cohesive somber or yearning doominess, with a great flow from start to finish. Great use of dynamics keeps the album engaging even at that slow, doomy pace.
The vocals are captivating and intertwined spectacularly into the music. I’m not a fan of harsher vocals, but the way Faetooth blends them into the album on tracks like White Noise is great, and I love the sound.
I highly recommend Labyrinthine for those who dig some shoegaze or doom.
