OKC was a blast! It was great to finally play at Blue Note, as well as share the stage with Rainbows are Free.
We loaded in around 7pm. Rainbows are Free backlined their amps to make the change over a little easier. It cramped the stage just a little, but we fit on there pretty good. Since it was just the two bands, we were able to play our longer set. The sound was on point on stage, so it was great hearing everything.
Rainbows are Free were great! It was awesome to finally share the stage with them. A little bit of a second chance since WC had some health issues when we were supposed to play with them a couple of years ago. Looking forward to getting another chance to do it again.
Overall, I think our first jaunt out in support of Faces went well, and had a good turnout. I will say my body was ready to be home after spending roughly 50-ish hours in a car the past week. Ug.
