Friday night was a good night! It was a great lineup at The Cicada in Fort Worth to boot!

Werewolf Victim Revival opened the show. A three-piece outfit from Fort Worth. They brought the noisy, post punk sound to the show. They leaned a bit sludgy as well. Great way to open a show.

Good Spirits, from Shreveport, Louisiana, followed. They brought a more mellowed stoner rock vibe to The Cicada. The played tunes from their latest album, and a newer song. Looking forward to next month when we hit a few shows with them, news to come on that.

FTW, the lords of rock-n-roll in my book, took the stage blaring full-on. I can never get enough FTW. I just wish we didn’t have to follow, which meant I was partially getting ready during the latter half of their set.

We, Stone Machine Electric, closed out the evening. Well, by the time we took the stage it was technically morning. We had a good set. For some reason in Circle I was trying to add an extra beat. I’ve played that song thousands of times, so I’m not sure what my brain was doing. I caught it, but still, ug.
