If I counted correctly, this is post 111 for 2025. Not bad, really. I think I am doing pretty good at consistently posting. It ebbs and flows, but so that’s life.
In the past couple of days, I have been able to knock out some recording. I redid guitars for a couple of songs, and recorded two new ones. I even busted out the old acoustic since it has nice new frets on it. I thought I only had enough for an EP sized album, but with all the audio I have it will be plenty for a full release. I have some improvised ambient pieces from a few years ago I plan to carve up and include bits from.
I have an idea for the album art and name. Hopefully I can find the photo I want to use. The name is one that I’ve wanted to use for a band name, so it will be the title of this next release.
I’ve been doing a couple of projects around the house, mainly outside. Started the “foundation” for the Mrs greenhouse kit. I leveled out an area in the garden, and now I need to pave it with bricks salvaged from the bay window area I removed a few years ago. I also need to sledgehammer some old fence post concrete in the ground so I can cover the tops of them up. Projects never end, and I’m OK with that.
Another year ends, and before you know it, it will be over again. Only faster.
