Mixes

I’ve been listening to the mixes of my latest batch music. I’m conflicted.

For the most part, they are coming together nicely. There are spots that need tweaked here and there. Nothing to wacked out.

However, I’m flip-flopping on the idea of drums. Most of the songs, specifically ones that were actually recorded in 2024, have drum tracks. About 6 months ago I thought I would mute them. The idea was I would play these live, so maybe I should release them the way I would play them live – without drums.

After listening to them the past few days, I think I should revisit the songs with drums. They seem like they are missing something, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it is drums. But, that’s probably a good place to start.

If I do add them back in, I’ll likely have to add them to the song I recently recorded.
