Aeon Temple released their latest album, Resurfaced, last month. I’ve been playing this one off and on for a few weeks now.

Why does it seem like most of the music I gravitate towards is Europe based? I guess there is something about that area and heavy music. Maybe I need to go visit.
If I’m reading this accurately, Resurfaced is an apt album name since their last release was 10 years ago. Regardless, it is a great album! A consistent sound with varied styles merged together.
Children of the Dirt brings on the hard rock. Tireless Machine digs down on the heavy. Blumulu softens it up a bit with more of a folkish sound. The vocals blend nicely with the guitar tones. The drums are delivered spot on and work in tandem with the riffs.
Give it a listen.
