I know February isn’t over yet, but still, why the hassle?

Yes, Is It Death Metal or Sadness? was recorded and released in two weeks. But, Distrokid made it a hassle to get pushed out to the streaming platforms. Why, you might ask? Apparently, the “stores”, as Distrokid referred to them, don’t allow song snippets or previews.
The way their system works is a red light, yellow light, green light process. Red light means there is an error. Yellow light means it is processing. Green light means it is complete. When I got the message about the song length, it didn’t tell me I had to fix anything, and the album was still on yellow light.
I let it sit there for a week thinking it would still process since it wasn’t an error. After a week of no completion, I went through the shitty AI chat bot to get it resolved. The system briefly sent me to a real agent, supposedly, before quickly being told it would need to be internally reviewed. A few days later, I received an email stating they pushed the album through and noted some “stores” may still not accept them.

I don’t care if some “stores” don’t accept it. I paid you twits to send it out, so don’t sit on it with a vague notification and still show it to be processing.
Anyway, you can find Is It Death Metal or Sadness? on most “stores” now, if not all.
