Review: Tetrahedric Hellscape Cannon by Sons of Gulliver

Sons of Gulliver are a local (to me) 2-piece stoner rock machine. Consisting of bass and drums, they bring out a different flavor of gritty blues influenced stoner rock.

Tetrahedric Hellscape Cannon by Sons of Gulliver

Tetrahedric Hellscape Cannon is 9 songs and 31 minutes of gritty bass, grittier vocals, and pounding drums. No need for any fancy noodling guitar solos or that superfluous shit. Thick bass riffs and straight up beats on the drums are all that is needed.

Earthbound is the only track that breaks up that flow. Acoustic guitar and hand drums to set that Planet Caravan feeling.  Sons of Gulliver also pull off a great cover of Ohio, originally written by Neil Young.

If you’re looking for some 2-piece Texas grit bathed in stoner rock, give this one a listen.
