Live Rig

Here is a snapshot of my live rig from my show over the weekend. I didn’t think to take photos at the gig, but these were the day before in the studio.

Pedal board and synth station

This is the “front of house” section. My guitar runs through the pedal board, obviously, and runs into two amps via an octave pedal. The bass side of the octave runs into a small mixer on the synth board.

Synth station

The mixer also takes inputs from my Yamaha Reface DX synth and iPad. I use the iPad to run various samples. I do synth-y stuff with the synth. It has a looping function that I utilize for one song on my set. These all run into the bass amp.

Pedal board

I use all the pedals on this board. Fun fact, I use the Boss Equalizer pedal to dial in my “tone”. The tone knobs on my guitar are set to “ten”. I play an Epiphone SG-400. The pickup selector is set to the middle.

Guitar amp

I use an Epiphone Valve Junior for the guitar amp side. It runs through the green cabinet, which is a 2×12 configuration. I may swap over to the 1×12 the amp is sitting on.

Bass amp

The bass end of my guitar sound runs through this Acoustic B300H into a matching B410. The synth and samples run through this as well. I might switch to the Peavy 2×10, but I think it may sound a bit bad. I’ll test it again, though.

This may change before my next show, but who knows.
