Had a fun evening at Dr. Jeckyl’s Beer Lab in the quaint area of Pantego, a weird little area inside Arlington. Anyway, I had a show with Headeraser, so, yeah.
Stem Afternoon were the headliners of this event. They just released a new album, so go get a copy. They put on a great set of trip hop psychedelic music, so plenty of head bopping to be had. Always great to see and play with them!
We, Headeraser, opened the show. We blasted through a 40 minute set of our post rock-doomy-psych-prog-synth rock. We had some issues, for sure, but it came across well, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Sound wasn’t cooperating for us, but we acted like professionals and made due with what we had.
It was good to hang with friends that came out to the show as well! Great to see Frank, Jamie, Shane, Santos, Keith, and Stephanie (apologies if I spelled that wrong).
