Pretty fun night hanging out at The Cicada in Fort Worth. I assisted in booking this show, but I take no credit for the good music that ensued.
Werewolf Victim Revival opened the show. A local Fort Worth band that crept up in the past year. Fun, sludgey goodness was had.
Gran Moreno, on tour with High Desert Queen, rolled onto the stage next. Fuzzed out rocking two-piece. Great energy and vibe all over the stage.
High Desert Queen closed out the show. Just as much, I not more energizing than Gran Moreno. They know how to command a stage and work a crowd. Always fun to see them. They also pumped out a new song that was supposedly 70-90% complete. Not sure what’s missing, but I’m sure we’ll hear it soon enough.
