I’ve been on this odd mood of not being interested in listening to music lately. That may be apparent by the lack of related posts on this here blog.
I’ve been trying to get out of that funk with Elder’s latest album, Through Zero. I’m having a hard time doing that.
At the moment, this album isn’t jumping out to me. I love Elder, but right now this album isn’t connecting with me. It definitely sounds like Elder, but maybe it sounds too much like their previous few releases. I mean, I dig the album, I just can’t find any moments in it to highlight.
Maybe I just need to put it down and come back to it. Or, I just need to strap on the headphones and pulverize my eardrums with it. Anyway, don’t let me discourage you from giving it a listen.
