I’ve been dealing with this for a moment. I don’t know if it is directly related to just consumption of mostly stoner/doom music, or my band duties, or whatever else.
I’m still listening to new music coming out in the scene, but nothing is really catching my attention as of late. As I noted a while back, even the new one from Elder didn’t really catch my attention, though I did add one song to a playlist and noticed it when it hit. In terms of hit or miss, it’s been pretty miss for me.
I will say running social media and shit for myself (Slow Draw) and Stone Machine Electric is definitely on burnout mode. Especially if nothing is going on, why even post. I know you gotta stay “seen”, but, whatever. I’m pretty daily on Slow Draw stuff, but SME gets maybe a weekly thought. At this point, it’s not priority.
My main focus lately is Slow Draw, because, well, it is 100% me. That’s easier to do than having to wrangle up things with other band mates.
