It’s been a minute since I’ve done a music review. Apologies, as I haven’t been in a new music listening mood lately. It is what it is, and here we are.
I scrolled through the list of albums in the June edition of the Doom Charts and happened upon Are We Damned? by Goat Farm rolling in at 36. Maybe it was the number, maybe it was the name, but really, I don’t know why I tapped the link and hit play.
I guess the opening riff was enough to drag me in. The crunchy guitars and bass kept me listening. And the vocals just locked it in for me. Doomy goodness wrapped in heady vibes was enough for me to have this on repeat the last week and grab one of the few remaining CDs from their Bandcamp.
