The next few weeks will be fun.
Double playing a show on October 30th with Stone Machine Electric and Headeraser. SME’s set is going to be all covers, basically music as costume. So, I’ve got 9 songs to learn. Headeraser is adding some covers too, so add a couple of more to that.
Should be a fun evening. The logistics will be fun too, depending upon how the band order goes and squeezing in and out of the Sunshine Bar. Not sure if drum sharing will occur or not. I’d prefer to use my kit since the past year of doing it a few times didn’t necessarily work out in my favor.
The beginning of October, I have a couple of Slow Draw shows. I’ll be hitting Denton and Austin. I’m still waiting on the Sunn Beta Mini I ordered back in May. It was supposed to be July shipping, but last word was it would be shipped in September. I got a t-shirt as consolation. Guess it is looking like the end of September, if it does ship this month.
