I’ve got weekends of shows coming up. Stone Machine Electric and Slow Draw!
This weekend is actually the reschedule for Stone Machine Electric’s weekender with Good Spirits that got canceled back in January due to the winter storm that came through. Next weekend is my show at Growl opening a doom show. The following weekend is Heavy Mash at Division Brewing/Growl.
This week has been flipping back and forth between practicing those sets. The only thing I’m struggling with it the bass cabinet. It keeps sounding blown, but I’ve checked the speakers and they physically seem fine and passed the 9-volt test. Maybe it doesn’t like the guitar-through octave I have going through it. Or maybe it is the distortion I am using. I’ll figure that out soon, hopefully.
