The Mrs and I took a Monday field trip down to Austin, Texas so I could perform on a Metal Mondays show at the Far Out Lounge.
Dining With Devils started off the evening. They’re a three piece alternative band from Austin. They definitely put out that grunge vibe. Almost thought I was listening to Stone Temple Pilots once or twice.
I played next. I pumped out about 30-35 minutes of my noise. Only let down I had was my video camera did not record. Not sure why, but I think I may have put old batteries in it. I did get audio evidence, but not sure if that turned out yet. Had a few folks tell me they enjoyed it, and one of the guys from Dining With Devils told me he got Nine Inch Nails vibes from my set. I’ll take it!
Seratonin, a local four piece band, closed the show. They gave off Nu Metal vibes to me.
